140-hectare area of land in Bohol dedicated as a sanctuary for the Philippine Tarsier, the world’s smallest primate. The Philippine Tarsier is indigenous to Bohol but they have been threatened by deforestation and so the Philippine Tarsier & Wildlife Sanctuary was set up by the Philippine Tarsier Foundation to give these nocturnal creatures a natural environment in which they can breed. Guided tours are given after a short introduction to the Philippine Tarsier in the main building.
