A museum opened in 2008 to promote the history and culture of the Davao region. Entrance is free and English tours of the museum are available. These last about 20 minutes, but tend to rush through the exhibits leaving you little time to read the lengthy explanations and wall posters describing each period of Davao’s history. Note also that photography is only allowed in a limited area of the museum.
