A bay on the east side of Palawan near Puerto Princesa containing several small islands, the most popular of which is Dos Palmas Island (the only island to have overnight accommodation). Other islands include Padan Island, Snake Island—so called for its long, thin sandy beach stretching out into the ocean—and Starfish Island, named not for its shape but because the shallow waters of the shore are home to thousands of starfish. One-day boat tours range from P1,000 to P1,500. Note that many of the islands are privately owned and charge an admission fee of P100-150 for visitors.
