Festival held in July commemorating the March 16, 1565 Treaty of Friendship between Datu Sikatuna, a chieftain in Bohol, and Spanish conquistador Miguel López de Legazpi, which was sealed through a blood compact—an ancient Philippine ritual where each party would cut their wrists, pour the blood into a cup, and drink the mixture. The festivities include street dancing, sports competitions, and an ever-popular beauty contest.
