Literally meaning, “where they landed”, the Binirayan Festival remembers the arrival of ten Bornean datu (rulers of indigenous people) on the island of Panay. It is a month-long festival held in Antique Province on the island and includes street dancing, parades, culturals shows, and arts & crafts exhibitions, among other events. San Jose de Buenavista is the center for most events.
